日本にほんに初はじめて住すむ、または、旅行りょこうに来くる人ひとが、日本にほんのATMを使つかうのは少すこし難むずかしいかもしれません。
みなさんがATMを使つかうときの助たすけになるように、基本的きほんてきな使つかい方かたを説明せつめいします。

If you are living or traveling to Japan for the first time, it may be a little difficult to use a Japanese ATM.
I  will explain the basics to help you use an ATM.

ATMがある場所／ATM locations

日本にほんのATMは、いろいろな場所ばしょにあります。

ATMs can be found in a variety of places in Japan.

  • 銀行ぎんこうの中なか／ Inside the Bank
  • コンビニ（セブンイレブン、ローソン、ファミリーマートが有名ゆうめいです）
    Convenience stores (7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart are well-known)
  • 駅えきの中なか／ Inside the station
  • ショッピングモール／shopping mall

おすすめは便利なセブン銀行／I recommend the convenient Seven Bank.

コンビニは誰だれもがいく場所ばしょです。たくさんあります。
1番ばん　便利べんりなのは、コンビニのセブンイレブンだと思おもいます。
ATMが365日にち　使つかえます。
いろいろなことばで説明せつめいを見みることができます。

Convenience stores are places everyone goes to.There are many.
I think the most convenient one is the Seven-Eleven convenience store.
ATMs are available 365 days a year.

英語えいごが　使つかえない銀行ぎんこうもあります。ことばを覚おぼえておくと安心あんしんです。

Some banks don’t have English language options. It’s a good idea to remember the terms.

  • お預け入れ／おあずけいれ／deposit
  • お引き出し／おひきだし／withdrawal
  • お振込み／おふりこみ／payment 
  • お振替え／おふりかえ／transfer
  • 通帳記帳／つうちょうきちょう／passbook
  • 残高照会／ざんだかしょうかい／blance inquiry
  • 暗証番号／あんしょうばんごう／PIN
  • 円／えん／Japanese Yen
  • 確認／かくにん／confirm
  • 明細書／めいさいしょ／statement
  • 取り消し／とりけし／cancel

「引き出し」のしかた／How to “Withdraw

日本円にほんえんを引ひき出だす例れいを説明せつめいします。銀行ぎんこうによって、画面がめん、操作そうさが違ちがいます。

The following is an example of withdrawing Japanese yen.The screen and operations differ depending on the bank.

１、カードを入いれる／Insert a card
２、ことばを選えらぶ（日本語にほんご、英語えいごなど）／Select a language (Japanese、 English、 etc.)
３、「お引ひき出だし」を選えらぶ／Select “Withdrawal
４、金額きんがくを入いれる／Enter the amount
５、暗証番号あんしょうばんごうを入いれる／Enter your PIN number
６、カードとお金かねをとる／Take card and money

＊最後さいごに、明細書めいさいしょが必要ひつようかどうか、聞きかれる場合ばあいがあります。

Finally, you may be asked if you need a statement.

注意すること／Things to note

ATMにいく前まえに確認かくにんすること

Check before going to an ATM.

  • カードが使つかえるかどうか／Whether the card can be used or not
  • 時間じかん／Time
  • 手数料てすうりょう／commission
  • 限度額げんどがく／limit

日本にほんのATMは優秀ゆうしゅうで信頼しんらいができます。わたしがATMを使つかって、カードが戻もどってこなかったことは1度どもありません。

また、「ごとおび」ということばがあります。「ご」＝5、「とお」＝10の意味いみです。
５日いつか、10日とおか、15日にち、20日はつか、25日にち、30日にちの、５と10がつく日ひは、給料日きゅうりょうびなどの理由りゆうでATMが混こみやすいです。
とくに、25日にちは混こみます。

わからないときは、近ちかくの人ひとに聞きいてください。英語えいごをうまく話はなせる人ひとは少すくないですが、みんな親切しんせつな心こころがあります。助たすけてくれます。

日本にほんに住すんでいて、危険きけんを感かんじることはほとんどありません。安全あんぜんな国くにです。日本にほんのATMの使つかい方かたを覚おぼえて、楽たのしく過すごしてくださいね。

Japanese ATMs are excellent and reliable.I have never had my card returned after using an ATM.

There is also a word “Gotoobi”.It means “go” = 5 and “to-o” = 10.

ATMs tend to be crowded on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th, which are days that end in 5 or 10, because they are paydays and other days. They are especially crowded on the 25th.

If you don’t understand, ask someone nearby.Few people speak English well, but they all have kind hearts.They are willing to help.

Living in Japan, I rarely feel in danger.It is a safe country.Please learn how to use Japanese ATMs and have a good time.
